CA303 piezoelectric accelerometer
Designed for the long-term measurement of vibration over wide temperature ranges in extreme environments, such as gas turbines
- Operating temperature: −55 to 500 °C
- Frequency response: 5 to 3000 Hz
- Available as a sensor only (no integral cable) or with an integral mineral-insulated (MI) with a double braid
- Certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
Description
The CA303 piezoelectric accelerometer is a vibration sensor with a piezoelectric sensing element that provides a charge output. Accordingly, an external charge amplifier (IPC707 signal conditioner), is required to convert this charge-based signal into a current or a voltage signal.
The CA303 is designed and built for long-term use in extreme environments characterised by high temperatures and/or hazardous areas (potentially explosive atmospheres).
Features
- Sensitivity: 50 pC/g
- Operating temperature: −55 to 500 °C
- Frequency response: 5 to 3000 Hz
- Measurement range: up to 40 g
- Available as a sensor only (no integral cable) or with an integral mineral-insulated (MI) with a double braid
- Certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
