Description

The CA134 piezoelectric accelerometer is a vibration sensor with a piezoelectric sensing element that provides a charge output. Accordingly, an external charge amplifier (IPC707 signal conditioner), is required to convert this charge-based signal into a current or a voltage signal.

Key features

  • Sensitivity: 10 pC/g
  • Operating temperature: −253 to 500 °C
  • Frequency response: 0.5 to 6000 Hz
  • Measurement range: up to 500 g
  • Available as a sensor only (no integral cable), allowing different mineral-insulated (MI) cable assemblies to be used depending on the application
  • Certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
